F3 is making the world a better place by teaching our youth how to be better to themselves, better to each other, and better to our environment so that they may strive to be the best version of themselves in the final third of their lives.
Final Third Foundation (F3), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, champions the transformative power of soccer, wellness, and education. F3 believes in soccer's capacity to unify communities and foster positive change, aspiring to create a more equitable playing field both on and off the pitch. With a comprehensive vision, F3 endeavors to nurture the next generation's holistic development from ages 3 to 18, aiming for enhanced educational outcomes, social cohesion, health, nutrition, and environmental consciousness.
Beyond soccer, F3 offers comprehensive development opportunities to its constituents, encompassing referee and coaching education programs. These initiatives not only enhance participants' skills but also empower them to pursue sustainable career paths within the sports industry. For instance, F3 facilitates referee employment opportunities for youth as young as 14, fostering safe and rewarding avenues for community engagement.
Central to F3's approach is its commitment to fostering enduring relationships and nurturing communities through multifaceted programming. Initiated through the universal language of soccer, these connections evolve into robust enrichment programs targeting physical, mental, and social well-being. From soccer and literacy initiatives integrated into local schools to environmental awareness programs at Pathways Park, F3's impact resonates across Central Ohio.
In alignment with its mission, F3 has forged partnerships with schools and organizations sharing its ethos, predominantly supporting East and West African, Latino/a, Nepali, and Black communities. While these partner organizations exhibit unwavering dedication to enriching children's lives, they often grapple with limited infrastructure hindering program growth. Through its robust support network, F3 alleviates these constraints by providing essential resources such as field access, equipment, and business infrastructure. Leveraging grants, sponsorships, and donations, F3 mitigates financial burdens for its partners, enabling them to focus on impactful programming.
