EAP Establishes Collaboration with OSU School of Environment and Natural Resources
During the Autumn 2024 semester at Ohio State University our Environmental Awareness Program partnered with the School of Environment and Natural Resources’ (SENR) capstone course for the first time to further develop our meadow reclamation project at Pathways Park.
Environmental Awareness Program Concludes a Fulfilling Fall Season
In the Fall of 2024 we interacted with nearly 150 second graders in our learning gardens at three CCS schools. Our students recorded in their garden notebooks the seeds they planted, the plants they grew into, and other earthly elements that make our learning gardens grow.
While at Pathways Park we have now lined .75 miles of the trail with trees thanks to the nearly 60 volunteers who came out this year and last. On November 9th we planted 60 more trees along the Alum Creek Trail, bringing our total up to 120 trees planted.
