Leveling the Playing Field: The F3 Academy | 6-18 Project
At Final Third Foundation, our mission is to level the playing field at every level. With the rising costs of playing travel and club soccer, access to resources is crucial for players to be exposed to professional academies, universities, and colleges, enabling them to continue their careers.
To address this, Final Third Foundation launched the F3 Academy/6-18 Project, a program designed to provide players and families access to opportunities and environments they might not otherwise have. Our academy offers an affordable, high-quality soccer experience where players can compete at a fraction of the cost of traditional programs.
How We Fund the Academy
To make this program sustainable, we’ve developed a funding model:
Family Contributions: Each family contributes $100 annually, fostering a sense of ownership in the program.
Player Sponsorships: Individual sponsors can support players with a $55 annual contribution.
Kroger Rewards Program: Families can join the Kroger Community Rewards Program, which donates a percentage of purchases to Final Third Foundation.
Main Sponsorships: Sponsors can feature their logo on the front of players’ jerseys, receiving visibility and supporting a great cause.
Fundraising Events: Engaging the community through events to support the academy.
What It Costs Per Player Per Season
The annual cost per academy player is $500, which covers:
A full Adidas uniform.
Coaching fees.
Facility rentals.
Player insurance.
Administrative costs.
Your support is essential to ensure the success of this initiative and to provide equitable opportunities for all players in our community.
